Fees

Feesare usually set on the basis of the following:

- the nature and difficulty of the case

- the time spent on the case

- the urgency

- the result.

Fees are subject to value added tax(TVA) at the rate of 19.6 % for payments made in France.

Anadvance on costs and fees is usually required before work begins on a case.

The firm may also offer its clients a system of fees based on time spent. The invoice will then be related solely to the time spent on the case by the barrister and any other colleagues.
